Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How is the admission aggregate calculated?
Each result is converted to a percentage and multiplied by its weight. For the medical preset, matric counts 10 percent, inter counts 40 percent and the entry test counts 50 percent of the final aggregate.
What is the engineering aggregate formula?
The engineering preset uses a PU and NUST style split: matric counts 34 percent, inter counts 33 percent and the entry test counts 33 percent of the final aggregate.
What aggregate is needed for a public medical college?
It changes every year with the merit list, but as a rough guide an aggregate of 90 percent or higher is competitive for public medical colleges. This tool only estimates; the official merit list decides.
Can I use my own weights instead of a preset?
Yes. Choose the Custom preset and set your own matric, inter and entry test percentages.
