Coordinate Plane Plotter
Type points, a line or a polygon and see them drawn on a labeled x-y grid. Great for homework on ordered pairs, slope and geometry.
How to use
- Choose the Points, Line or Shape tab.
- For points: type x,y pairs, one per line or separated by commas.
- For a line: enter slope and y-intercept, or two points the line passes through.
- For a shape: list vertices in order, e.g. 0,0, 4,0, 4,3, 0,3.
- Set the axis range and grid step, then press Plot.
- Download the graph as a PNG for your homework or report.
Note: This is a classroom graphing aid, not a replacement for full graphing software. Very large ranges (above 100 units) may make labels crowded.
Tips
- Enter points as (x, y) pairs — x comes first, left to right, then y.
- A straight line only needs two points; extra points help confirm it.
- Zoom the range out if large coordinates bunch up at the center.
- This is a classroom aid — export a screenshot for homework submissions.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What does the Coordinate Plane Plotter do?
You type points, a line or a polygon and see them drawn on a labeled x-y grid — great for homework on ordered pairs, slope and geometry.
How do I type my points?
One per line or comma separated, in x,y format, for example 3,4.
How do I draw a line?
Choose a line method: slope-intercept form y equals mx plus b, or two points the line passes through.
Can I save the graph?
Yes. Use the Download as PNG button to save the plotted graph as an image.
Is it full graphing software?
No — it is a classroom graphing aid, and very large ranges above 100 units may make labels crowded.
