Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How does the Daily Cash Tally work?
Enter your opening cash, sales, payouts and deposits, then count the physical cash in the drawer with the denomination helper. The tool compares expected cash with counted cash and shows whether you are exact, over or short.
How do I count the drawer?
The Count the Drawer table lists each note and coin value. Enter how many of each you have, and the tool multiplies them to give your total counted cash.
Are card sales part of the drawer count?
No. Card and online sales are recorded for the total sales figure but are not part of the cash expected in the drawer.
Can I print my tally?
Yes. The Print Summary button prints the day-end summary so you can keep it with your daily records.
