Step by step: generate your PSID

  1. Log in to FBR IRIS at the official FBR portal with your NTN or CNIC and password.
  2. Open the e-payment (or e-filing payment) section of the portal.
  3. Select the tax type and the correct tax period for which you are paying.
  4. Enter the amount carefully. The portal will generate a unique PSID (Payment Slip ID).
  5. Note the PSID down, then pay it through any of the channels below within its validity period.
Important: A PSID is valid only for a limited period. Pay as soon as possible after generating it. If it expires, simply generate a fresh PSID and pay again.

Ways to pay with your PSID

  • Bank branch: visit any authorized bank branch, share your PSID at the counter, and pay in cash or by cheque.
  • ATM: choose the bill or tax payment option on the ATM, enter the PSID, and confirm the payment.
  • Internet banking: log in to your bank website, open the FBR or tax payment section, and enter the PSID.
  • Mobile banking app: most Pakistani bank apps have an FBR or government payment option. Enter the PSID, and the app fetches the linked amount automatically.
  • 1LINK counters: many branchless banking agents connected to 1LINK can process PSID payments.
