Godown Stock Manager
Shops that store stock in both the shop and the godown lose track of what is where. Record items per location, move stock with the transfer feature, and review the automatic history — all saved privately in your browser.

How to use
- Add locations — like Godown-1, Godown-2 besides the shop.
- Choose the location when you add an item.
- To move stock between places, use Transfer — the history saves on its own.
Tips
- Create one location per physical place (shop, godown-1, godown-2) — vague names cause the same confusion as paper records.
- Use the transfer feature instead of deleting and re-adding items; the history shows exactly what moved where.
- Do a weekly physical count and correct the numbers — small drift becomes big shortage if ignored.
- Remember the data lives in this browser only; note key figures elsewhere before clearing browser data.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What does the godown stock manager track?
Shop and godown stock separately - add locations like Godown-1 and Godown-2, add items per location, and transfer stock between places with automatic history.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is saved only in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
How do I move stock between locations?
Use the Stock transfer form: pick the item, the From and To locations and the quantity. The tool updates both locations and records the move in the transfer history.
What is the difference between a location and an item?
A location is a place like Godown-1 or your shop; an item is a product stored there. Add locations first, then add items inside each location.
