Kubernetes YAML Generator
Writing Kubernetes manifests from memory invites typos. Fill in the application name, container image, replicas, ports and service type, and this generator produces valid Deployment and Service YAML you can pipe straight into kubectl apply — then copy or download the file.
How to use
- Enter your container image, replica count and ports.
- Add environment variables and resource requests or limits as needed.
- Copy the YAML or download it, then apply it:
kubectl apply -f app.yaml. - Check the rollout with
kubectl rollout status deployment/<app-name>.
Note: this generator produces standard Kubernetes manifests that work on any cluster (minikube, EKS, GKE, AKS). NodePort values must stay within 30000–32767. Everything is generated in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
Tips
- Double-check the container image tag — ‘latest’ can surprise you; pin a version for predictable deploys.
- Choose ClusterIP for internal services, and NodePort or LoadBalancer only when the app needs outside access.
- Run kubectl apply --dry-run=client -f app.yaml first to catch errors before touching the cluster.
