Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How do I calculate my matric result percentage?
Divide your obtained marks by the total marks and multiply by 100. For example, 880 out of 1100 is 80 percent. This calculator does the math for you instantly.
What grade do I get at 80 percent in Pakistani boards?
Most Pakistani boards award grade A1 at 80 percent and above, A at 70 percent and above, B at 60 percent, C at 50 percent, D at 40 percent and E at 33 percent. Below 33 percent is a fail. Grading can vary slightly by board.
How many marks do I need to reach a target percentage?
Switch to reverse mode, enter your total marks and your target percentage. The calculator multiplies the target percentage by the total marks to show the marks you need.
Can I convert my percentage to a 4.0 GPA?
A common approximation divides your percentage by 100 and multiplies by 4. For example, 80 percent is about 3.2. This is only an estimate, since Pakistani boards do not use GPA officially.
Are the grades here official for my board?
No. Grade boundaries can vary between boards and years. Always confirm your official grade on your board result card or the official board portal.
