Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How do I build a paper blueprint with this tool?
Enter the subject, total marks and time allowed. Add each chapter or topic with its marks weightage, then set the number and marks of MCQs, short questions and long questions. The tool checks your totals live and builds a printable summary table.
What happens if my allocated marks do not match the paper total?
The tool compares your allocated marks with the target total marks and shows a warning banner telling you the exact difference, so you can adjust chapters or question types before printing.
Does the blueprint suggest time for each section?
Yes. When you enter the time allowed, the summary divides it between question types in proportion to their marks, giving a suggested time in minutes for each section and for each question.
Can I add my own question types?
Yes. The table starts with MCQ, short questions and long questions, and you can add custom types such as fill in the blanks or true or false, each with its own count and marks per question.
How do I print the final blueprint?
Press the Print Blueprint button. The print view hides all input forms and shows only the clean summary tables, ready to attach to your exam file or share with the paper setter.
