Important notes

  • Defaults are editable examples for Pakistan — replace them with your real purchase receipts, gas bill, wages and rent.
  • Break-even is reached when daily profit crosses zero; sell more than this every day to stay profitable.
  • Monthly projection multiplies daily profit by 30 working days; closed days reduce it.

Frequently asked questions

Total daily cost is flour used (rotis sold divided by rotis per kg, times flour cost per kg) plus fuel, labor, rent and other daily costs. Dividing that total by rotis sold gives cost per roti.

Break-even rotis per day equals daily fixed costs (fuel, labor, rent, other) divided by contribution per roti (sale price minus flour cost per roti). Sell at least this many rotis daily to cover costs.

They are fixed daily costs that stay the same whether you sell 300 or 800 rotis. Keeping them separate makes the break-even point and daily profit clear.
