How do I use the rubric maker?
Add your grading criteria with a weight for each one so the weights total 100 percent, set the points for each performance level, then press Generate to build the rubric table.
What are the four performance levels?
Excellent, Good, Fair and Needs Work. You can edit the points and the description text for each level before you generate the table.
Why must the weights total 100 percent?
Each cell in the table is calculated as a share of the criterion weight, so the weights must total 100 percent for the maximum score to be a clean 100 points.
Can I copy or print the rubric?
Yes. The Copy button copies the rubric table as plain text for pasting into documents, and the Print button prints a clean paper version of the table.
Is my rubric data saved anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser while the page is open. Nothing is uploaded to a server or stored on our side.
