How to use
- Add every piece of lab equipment with its name, category, quantity, condition, purchase date and cabinet location.
- Use the search box and filters to find items quickly during class or an audit.
- Use the Damaged or Missing buttons when items break or go missing; use + and - to adjust quantities.
- Set a low stock level — flagged items need restocking. Export CSV or print the list for your records.
Note: All inventory data is stored in your browser's local storage. It stays on this device and is not uploaded anywhere.
Tips
- Do a quick count at the end of each term and update quantities so the low stock warnings stay accurate.
- Store breakable glassware and chemicals in separate cabinets and note the cabinet number in the location field.
- Mark items Damaged instead of deleting them, so the record of what needs repair is kept.

How do low stock warnings work?
Any item whose quantity is at or below the low stock level you set is flagged with a warning badge, so you can reorder or restock in time.
