Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How do I record a sale or expense?
Pick the date, type a short description, choose Sale Income or Expense, enter the amount, and press Add Entry. The entry appears in your ledger instantly and the totals update.
Are my shop records saved online?
No. Your entries are stored in your own browser with localStorage. Nothing is uploaded to a server, and they stay on this device until you delete them.
Can I export or import my ledger?
Yes. Press Export CSV to download all entries as a CSV file you can open in Excel or Google Sheets. Press Import CSV to load a previously exported file back into the tracker.
What is the difference between Sale Income and Expense?
Sale Income records money coming into the shop, like a sale. Expense records money going out, like a supplier payment or a utility bill.
What totals does it show?
Daily and monthly totals at the top of the page, plus the This Month net balance so you can see whether the shop is truly earning.
