Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How do stock alerts work?
Set a minimum stock level for each product. When the current stock falls to or below that minimum, the product is flagged as low stock and highlighted. When stock reaches zero, it moves to the out of stock list.
What does the restock value tell me?
For every low stock or out of stock product, the tool multiplies the quantity needed to reach the minimum level by the purchase price. This shows the estimated cash needed to restock fully.
How do I adjust stock after a sale or purchase?
Use the plus and minus buttons next to each product in the table. Plus increases stock when new goods arrive, minus decreases stock when items are sold. Changes save automatically.
Is my product data safe and private?
Yes. All products and stock levels are stored only in your browser using localStorage. Nothing is uploaded to any server, and you can export your list as a CSV file anytime.
