How to use it
- Select the trip type that matches your travel plan. A ready packing list appears instantly.
- Tick each item as you place it in your bag. The progress bar shows how much of your packing is done.
- Add anything the list missed with the Add Your Own Item form. Your items stay under the Your Own Items group.
- Delete any item you do not need with the cross button. The list is for guidance, so shape it to your trip.
- Everything saves automatically in your browser, separately for each trip type.

How do the trip types work?
Choose Beach Trip, Mountain Trip, Business Trip, City Break, Camping Trip or Winter Trip from the buttons at the top. A ready made packing checklist loads for that trip type. You can switch trip types at any time and your progress for each one stays saved.
Do my ticked items save?
Yes. Every tick, added item and deleted item saves automatically in your browser using localStorage. The data is stored separately for each trip type, and nothing is uploaded to any server.
Can I add my own items to the checklist?
Yes. Use the Add Your Own Item form to type any extra item and click Add Item. Your items appear under the Your Own Items group and can be deleted with the cross button next to each one.
How is the packing progress calculated?
Progress is the number of ticked items divided by the total number of items, multiplied by 100. The progress bar, the percentage and the packed item count update live as you tick items off.
How do I start the checklist over?
Click the Reset Checklist button. After a confirmation, all ticks are cleared and your custom items are removed for the current trip type, returning it to the original ready made list.
