Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How should I split my days between Makkah and Madinah?
A common split for a 10 day trip is 6 days in Makkah and 4 in Madinah. The planner requires your Makkah days plus Madinah days to equal your total trip days, and it generates a day by day plan for both cities.
What happens on the first day of the itinerary?
Day one covers arrival at the Makkah hotel, rest, then the Umrah rites in order: Tawaf around the Kaaba, Saee between Safa and Marwa, and Halq or Taqseer, which is shaving or trimming the hair.
Which Ziyarat spots are included?
In Makkah the plan includes Jabal al-Nour, Jabal Thawr, Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifah and Jannat al-Mualla. In Madinah it includes Masjid Quba, Uhud, Masjid al-Qiblatain, the Khandaq mosques and Jannat al-Baqi.
Does the planner save my progress?
Yes. Ticked activities and your trip settings are saved in your browser with local storage, so you can close the page and continue later. You can reset or print the plan any time.
