How to use

  1. Type your subject (and viva date if you know it) and add checklist items by category — or press "Load starter set" for a ready-made list.
  2. Tick items off as you learn them and watch the progress bar grow.
  3. Open Practice mode, draw a random question, and answer out loud before the timer ends. Repeat until you can answer without hesitation.

Starter set tips

  • A good viva checklist has 15-25 items — enough to cover the topic, not so many that you panic.
  • Prepare at least 10 "likely questions" of your own; examiners repeat the same favourites every year.
  • Keep your admit card, ID card and any required documents ready the night before — the checklist has a category for that.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How does the viva preparation checklist work?

Add checklist items under five categories: Core concepts, Definitions, Diagrams, Likely questions and Documents to carry. Tick each item off as you learn it, and the progress bar shows how much of the checklist is done. A ready-made starter set is available to load.

Is my checklist saved?

Yes. Your checklist is stored only in this browser's local storage. Nothing is sent anywhere.

What does practice mode do?

Practice mode draws one of your Likely questions items at random and starts a countdown timer of 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 2 minutes or 3 minutes. Answer the question out loud before the timer ends, then draw the next question.

Can I set my viva date?

Yes. Enter your subject and an optional viva date, and the tool shows how many days are left so you can plan your revision.
