How to use
- Type the item name, its wholesale rate, how many units you buy, and the transport cost per unit. Press Add item.
- Set your profit margin percent. The suggested retail price for every item updates at once.
- Edit any cell directly in the table. Landed cost, unit cost, retail price and profit recalculate automatically.
- Use the totals footer and the summary cards to check the full purchase before you pay.
How the math works
Landed cost per unit = wholesale rate + transport per item. Line landed total = landed cost per unit × quantity. Suggested retail price = landed cost per unit × (1 + margin / 100). Profit per unit = retail price − landed cost per unit. Currency label is only for display.

How does the wholesale purchase cost planner work?
Enter each item name, its wholesale rate, quantity and transport cost per item. The planner adds a row and instantly shows line total, cost per unit, suggested retail price at your chosen margin and profit.
What is landed cost per unit?
Landed cost per unit is the wholesale rate plus the transport cost per item. It is the true cost of one unit before your margin.
How is the suggested retail price calculated?
Suggested retail price equals the cost per unit multiplied by one plus your margin percent divided by 100. Change the margin and every price updates.
Can I edit items after adding them?
Yes. Every cell in the table is editable. Change any rate, quantity or transport cost and all totals, retail prices and profits update at once.
